About Us
Welcome to Care That Matters, where our aim is to go beyond just service.
We take pride in understanding your unique needs—whether that’s finding the ideal healthcare facility for a loved one, providing companionship, or ensuring they receive the attention and support they deserve. If you’re worried about a loved one placed in a facility but can’t get away to check on them, let Care That Matters step in. We will visit your loved one on your behalf and report back to you with honest, compassionate updates.
In addition to supportive care services, we also provide reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) to help your loved one get to appointments, therapy, or community outings safely and comfortably.
We are your trusted partners in navigating these critical life decisions—and we’re with you every step of the way.
Serving Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee Counties, we are committed to being accessible to our communities, ensuring that the care and services we provide are within reach.
Who We Are
Care That Matters is more than a service provider.
Founded by Lisa, a licensed nurse with broad experience ranging from newborn care to geriatric health. Lisa is a graduate of both Jackson College and Spring Arbor University, where she obtained a business degree along with her nursing degree. Care That Matters is more than a service provider. Lisa leads a team that comprises healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and community liaisons. Our varied expertise ensures a holistic approach to care placement, companionship for the elderly and educational services.
Our Mission
Our mission transcends basic healthcare placement or education.
We aim to build relationships with families, serving as a bridge between them and care facilities or educational programs. We believe that it’s through this relationship that quality care and meaningful education can truly happen.
