Home Care Services: Skilled and Non-Skilled Private Duty Home Care, Case Management, ADL Assistance, Medication Setups, Respite Care, Wellness Checks, Home Safety Evaluations, Meal Preparation, Errand Assistance, Homemaker Services, Bathing/Showering Assistance, Companionship, Medication Reminders and MORE.
We also offer a specialized Shower Program that can be contracted with facilities or provided to individuals in the home, designed to support safe, dignified, and consistent personal hygiene assistance based on each client’s needs.
In addition to supportive care services, we also provide reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) throughout the state of Michigan helping your loved one get to appointments, therapy, or community outings safely and comfortably.

Founded by Lisa, a licensed nurse with extensive experience spanning from newborn care through geriatric health, Care That Matters is built on a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and compassionate service. Lisa is a graduate of both Jackson College and Spring Arbor University, where she earned a business degree alongside her nursing degree, blending healthcare expertise with strong organizational leadership.
Care That Matters is more than a service provider. It is a dedicated team led by Lisa and suppored by skilled healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and community liaisons. Together, we provide compassionate in-home support designed to help maintain their independence, safety, and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
